This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a growing, independent business in the Tech industry.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in technical marketing. This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring presence at the company office in Poundbury, Dorchester, for part of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies specifically tailored to the company’s market within the tech space.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, identify new market opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to effectively market new and existing products, ensuring clear communication of technical specifications and benefits.
  • Craft compelling marketing materials and campaigns that resonate with the company’s target audiences.
  • Manage the company’s online presence, ensuring their leadership within technology is prominently and accurately represented.
  • Organise and participate in industry-specific events, conferences, and webinars to showcase their products and gather insights from market leaders and potential clients.
  • Oversee and allocate the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Foster continuous innovation by staying informed about the latest marketing trends and technologies relevant to their industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or similar. A Master’s degree or professional marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM) would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, with a significant track record in the technology.
  • Strong understanding of technical product marketing and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, particularly those relevant to B2B marketing in the tech industry.
  • Innovative and creative mindset, with a keen eye for identifying new marketing opportunities in the tech space.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously and delivering results within tight deadlines.
