This is a great opportunity to join a growing in-house marketing team as a Brand Manager, based in Exeter.

Your primary role will be to drive brand awareness and perception by creating clear brand messaging, ensuring that the company mission and vision are at the heart of all communications.

You will ensure that brand strategy, and brand book are up to date, and will be responsible for managing the PR and external corporate communications for the group.

The role will also involve managing the internal communication for the group, working closely with HR Team to ensure their brand values and value proposition are clearly communicated, ensuring the wider team are up to date and are brand advocates.

The role will involve ensuring all public facing channels up to date and are on brand, including but not limited to, website and social channels, external PR, printed assets, virtual and in person events, deploying campaigns and content, and reporting and measuring success.

You will work closely with the wider Marketing Services team where necessary to ensure marketing campaigns and brand activities are delivered on time and optimised.

You will have a thorough understanding of a range of marketing tools and activities and keep up to date with the latest trends and market developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse brand positioning and consumer insights.
  • Ensuring the Brand Book is up to date and at the heart of everything they do.
  • Plan and develop a marketing plan / strategy to ensure the company’s positive brand awareness is increasing.
  • Work with the wider team to deliver projects and campaigns to drive brand awareness.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of campaigns using various metrics including campaign ROI.
  • Evaluate analytics and reports and provide recommendations.
  • Recognise areas where they can develop key relationships that will assist in the long-term business goals.
  • Manage PR risks, including the development of contingency plans.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies.

Key Technical Skills and Behaviours

  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and manage strong campaign delivery with proven results.
  • Good understanding of customer and market dynamics and the ability to build comms strategies around customer needs.
  • Data-driven thinking teamed with creative problem solving.
  • Proven team player with the ability to be flexible.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to effectively liaise with the wider team, external contacts, and key stakeholders both within the business and in the wider group.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Hands on approach and proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders and team members.
