Working for a well-regarded creative comms agency in Manchester, due to growth in business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join their successful team.

You’ll have a solid PR background working in an agency as an Account Manager and possess all the skills that come with this i.e. you’re a great writer, a confident client handler, you have a sound understanding of the media and the ability to develop outstanding creative ideas.

In you previous role(s) have run strategic, targeted social media campaigns which have produced measurable results for clients.

You are a creative thinker who knows how to connect with an audience, no matter the sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately interpreting client briefs and articulating verbal and written briefs for internal agency departments as required.
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of the Client's business and the sector in which they operate to ensure PR initiatives are relevant and competitive.
  • Building and maintaining strong Client relationships and acting as the first point of contact for the Client on day-to-day matters.
  • Managing and overseeing the day-to-day administration of all Client projects, accounts and budgets.
  • Effectively delegating work to the Account Executives and acting as a mentor to encourage their development and growth.
  • Contributing to weekly work in progress forecasts.
  • Press release writing.
  • Media relations.
  • Working on new business opportunities.
